Out of control anger is an unpredictable, powerful and scary emotion.
Anger is an emotion that we all experience in differing degrees and it can vary from being mildly annoyed or irritated to intense rage.
It becomes destructive when it affects your relationships with family, friends and work colleagues.
Out of control anger can make you feel many different emotions.
Emotional and behavioural signs:
- Crankiness

In my experience there are often a number of underlying issues hiding under men’s anger and many factors that you may or may not be be aware of that drives you.
External factors may see you being angry at your partner, your boss or an event like a traffic jam.
Alternatively it may be caused by something going on internally – financial worries, relationship problems or memories of a traumatic event.
Whatever the cause some of the effects can be physical.
Physical Symptoms
- Rapid heart rate
- High blood pressure
- Stomach aches
- Shaking or trembling
- Grinding/clenching your teeth
- Headaches
- Shortness of breath
- Sweating
