Anger

Out of control anger is an unpredictable, powerful and scary emotion

Anger is an emotion that we all experience in differing degrees and it can vary from being mildly annoyed or irritated to intense rage. It becomes destructive when it affects your relationships with family, friends and work colleagues. Out of control anger can make you feel many different emotions.

Emotional and behavioral signs of anger:

Both external and internal factors can drive your anger. External factors may see you being angry at your partner, your boss or an event like a traffic jam. Alternatively, your anger may be caused by something going on internally – financial worries, relationship problems or memories of a traumatic event. Whatever the cause, anger will have an effect on how you feel physically.

Physical Symptoms of Anger:

  • Rapid heart rate
  • High blood pressure
  • Stomach aches
  • Shaking or trembling
